Welcome to Chicago Science in The City 2008

This initiative allows Chicagoans of all ages and backgrounds to explore and experience science and raise awareness of its importance to the City’s past, present and future.  This year’s Chicago Science in the City will closely examine the “Science of Sports” -- a theme that reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to science and sports.

Through this one-day interactive and hands-on event, Chicago Science in the City aims to inspire children to be scientists everyday, challenge adults to inquire about the essential role that science plays in our changing world and provide opportunities for every participant to get excited about science and sports.
